The Resting Conversation teacher training will leave you feeling confident and inspired to create a well-rounded restorative yoga practice as an antidote for modern-day living.

This training is designed for yoga practitioners who have already completed a 200-hour teacher training programme and wish to enrich themselves in the Resting Conversation approach to restorative yoga.

The full 100 hour certification consists of 2 x 50-hour modules — Level 1 and Level 2. Certified teachers will be able to join an international network of incredible teachers and lead Resting Conversation as a class type. Completion of Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2. It is, however, not a requirement to commit to the full certification to join any Level 1 trainings. Level 1 and Level 2 can be completed at different sites, anywhere in the world they are offered. Refer to Calendar for upcoming training dates.

The Level 2 module further refines the knowledge and skills to teach Resting Conversation. Further develop your eye, voice and intention for working in private and open class settings. The core content of this module includes deeper study of restorative yoga poses and props, such as the inversion series, the use of chairs, substituting props, and working in situations where there are minimal props. Learn yoga nidra and therapeutic sequences that may benefit chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression and other conditions. As with Level 1, there will be a lot of hands on practice to experience, explore and teach new material. There will be time to discuss practical observations and considerations.

Jeremy’s Resting Conversation presents a new thinking in restorative yoga. Resting Conversation marries the science and art of the practice so beautifully and purposefully. It’s like all the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle have fitted to form a complete work. Jeremy’s ability to seamlessly weave in psychology into the practice makes it so refreshing. I left the workshop feeling more informed about prop hacks and how the use of language can make a huge difference to my students’ experience.
